What is energy, energy work and an energy field?

Have you ever walked into a room where people were fighting, and even though you didn’t know they were fighting, you could feel the intensity? What about the peaceful feeling you experience the moment you set foot in a beautiful cathedral or church? Those are both examples of energy, and how energy impacts us.

Every object has its own unique, energy field or energetic signature. This signature can be measured in terms of heat, vibration and intensity. Whenever we experience trauma, grief, illness, injury or fear or are in the presence of those experiencing trauma, grief or fear, our energy signature is interfered with. Whether energy is diminished, blocked or the vibration is changed, it impacts how we feel.

Energy work is gentle, light-touch or no-touch work that helps restore our proper, fully vibrant and healthy energy field. It can be done with or without tools such as tuning forks, singing bowls or essential oils.

What are the different forms of energy work?

There are many different forms of energy work, from Reiki to Healing Touch to sound healing. Whether it’s chakra balancing, chakra healing, cord cutting, energy clearing, sound healing, vibrational healing, Reconnective Therapy, yoga or intuitive energy therapy, it’s all energy. All energy work involves the subtle energy field of the body and can be deeply healing and restorative. Prior to your session Lora will discuss your needs, goals and desires and determine the best course of action for you.

What is Integrated Energy Therapy®?

Integrated Energy Therapy®, IET, is an offshoot of Reiki that works with the angelic realm as well as the body’s own energy field. IET sessions clear blocks, psychic attachments and cords, clear traumatic or karmic “charges” left in the body’s energy field after stressful events and assists in healing and repair. It is done on a table or in a chair and although it typically incorporates light touch, it can also be done touch-free or even remotely.

Integrated Energy Therapy® (IET) is one of the next generation – hands on – power energy therapy systems that gets mental and emotional blocks and residue out of the physical body tissues for good. Developed at the Center of Being, by Stevan J. Tayer, IET uses the violet angelic energy ray to work directly with the 12-Strand Spiritual DNA. IET supports our energy field by safely and gently releasing limiting energy patterns of our past, empowering and balancing your life in the present, and helps you to reach for the stars as you evolve into your future. The term Integrated in the name was chosen in order to convey the healing vision of “integrating the pain of the past, into the power of the present, to bring about the joy of the future”.

Integrated Energy Therapy® is a wonderful complement to other holistic techniques or modalities such as Massage, Reiki, and Therapeutic Touch, and is also a perfect standalone energy therapy system.

Chakras, chakra balancing, chakra clearing and chakra work.

The chakras are the seven energy centers or energy wheels in the body. They help move or circulate the energy though our body. When they become blocked the energy is unable to circulate ad we begin to feel blocked, stuffy, sluggish and eventually unhealthy. Yoga, sound therapy, toning and tuning forks are wonderful ways to rebalance the chakras and get them functioning in top form.

Cord cutting and releasing attachments

Sometimes we have strong emotional or psychological attachments to people or things. This can be healthy, such as when we are strongly attached to our new baby, who truly does need us in order to survive. However, this can also be done in an unhealthy manner. Codependent relationships, abusive situations or irrational thoughts or beliefs can also create unhealthy attachments to people, situations or things. Cord cutting and releasing attachments are two types of energy work that can assist you in releasing unhealthy people, situations or thoughts from your life and moving on in strength and confidence.

What does energy work feel like?

Sessions are an hour long and leave you feeling, relaxed, rejuvenated and healed. Do you remember playing a game when you were a child, where someone would pretend to be the sun around your head, and they would get super close without actually touching you? If you played that game, you might remember an electrical type of feeling, where you felt highly alert yet profoundly relaxed all at the same time. That’s what energy work feels like!

What do I do during my energy work or energetic healing session?

Lora’s sessions are conducted on a Richway BioMat. The BioMat is a heated mat made out of crushed amethyst crystals that lays on a massage table. Using a combination of far infrared rays, negative ion and the conductive properties of amethyst channels, these three powerful health stimulators are a safe, natural and FDA approved device to offer temporary relief from minor spasms, minor sprains, minor strains, and minor joint pain associated with arthritis, minor muscle pain and more. If sitting is more comfortable for you, you may also remain seated during your session.

Sessions start with a brief discussion of your particular situation, then Lora begins the light touch energy session. Throughout the session Lora explains to you exactly what she is doing and what she is perceiving. She uses a combination of breath work, tuning forks, essential oils and mantras assist in the restructuring and clearing of the energy field. Your job is to relax, process and allow the restructuring to take place.

How much does energy work cost?

All energy work sessions are $125 per one hour session. Depending on your needs, we can also combine Intuitive Angel Readings in with your energy work session. Payment must be made in advance or your appointment. If you are unable to attend your appointment, you must give 24 hours notice in order to receive a refund or to reschedule. If you are unable to give sufficient notice, no refund will be given.

What if I’m late to my appointment?

Please let Lora know as soon as possible if you are running late and she will make every attempt to accommodate you. However, she is often scheduled back-to-back and if you are late to your appointment, your scheduled time may be diminished by the amount of time you are late.
